AER 557 scooter is designed for use on roads and bicycle lanes where legal. Whilst the product has been tested to European bicycle standards, cross country riding, off road riding, stunt riding and any other determined improper use may stress and damage the frame, components, loom, battery and the wheels.
The dual leg stand is designed only for the purpose of standing the scooter safely when not in use. Standing on the footboard when the scooter stand has been spring into an active position will apply too much pressure on the stand and its form may distort and therefore render the stand ineffective. In this case, warranty will not cover the stand – but replacement parts will be available for purchase and should be fitted by a competent Service Centre or bicycle store and a certificate must be provided for any work carried out.
Bearings, wheels, brakes and grips are susceptible to normal wear and tear. These parts are not covered by the warranty but can be replaced by the owner. Replacement parts must be fitted by a competent Service Centre or bicycle store and a certificate must be provided for any work carried out.
Any modification or alteration to the frame, fork any supplied components or electric components will void this warranty. If you are not the original owner of the scooter the warranty shall become void. All fixings should be checked before use and should be tightened to the correct torques supplied in the torque sheet contained in the packaging. Item that are not tightened to the correct torque affect overall riding performance and may render the scooter dangerous or illegal and may cause injury for which AER Electric Company Limited shall not be deemed liable in any way as per the terms and conditions of purchase.
The scooter is designed for single person use, warranty does not cover dual person riding.
The film used to wrap the battery is warrantied against colour fading from UV rays. Batteries are supplied with an additional layer of ultra clear self healing film that adheres to the colour film. Warranty does not cover against scratches or tears or delamination due to water damage. The film is replaceable and easy to fit. Please email us on warranty@aerelectric.com for assistance.
If the scooter becomes defective, please contact us by email. The defective parts are likely to be replaced. We do not offer refunds if the scooter has been used.
Please note that the cost of shipping the scooter to and from AER Electric may not be covered. Please contact us to confirm.
